FAQ
hop.in, home of open innovation, is Efacec’s crowdsourcing platform for challenges sharing fueled by creativity, diversity and collaboration. At hop.in, you’ll address Efacec’s challenges with your groundbreaking and sustainable solutions and/or challenge Efacec in the fields of energy, mobility and environment.
hop.in is for every single innovator out there who dreams to add value and is looking for a challenge: from Efacec’s employees to clients, partners (there are no competitors at our home of open innovation – competitors become partners and are included here), startups, researchers and entrepreneurs. Everybody who is willing to impact the world and shape the future of energy, mobility and environment is welcomed at hop.in.
A challenge is a call for collaboration. It can focus on a specific technical or business need, in the co-creation of an augmented value proposition for a new product/process/service offering or in addressing or exploring a given market opportunity or broader technological and social trend.
Challenges can be both ways, from Efacec towards the innovation’s ecosystem (Inside Out) or from any ecosystem player towards Efacec (Outside In). Answers should be as innovative and sustainable as possible and ideally with a no longer than 12 months forecasted go-to-market potential. Please note that Outside In will only be made available within the platform during the third quarter of 2021.
Open challenges can be found at hop.in Inside Out menu. General terms and regulations applied to the usage of hop.in platform, namely general rules about hop.in challenges, can be found in terms and regulations.
Additionally, each challenge, in accordance with its given nature, may consider specific requirements. Only users registered in hop.in platform can access those specific challenges’ rules. After, a more detailed explanation about the challenge and its specific requirements is made available.
